Our
multidisciplinary clinic is designed for individuals with
an existing diagnosis of von Hippel-Lindau syndrome (VHL)
as well as those who need to be evaluated for VHL disease
and familial renal cell carcinoma. The clinic provides patients:
- Genetic counseling services
- Genetic testing coordination
- Evaluation/diagnosis
- Coordination of care for the various specialties involved
in VHL disease care

A genetic counselor and oncologist who specialize in VHL
disease staff the clinic. We provide comprehensive care to
individuals with VHL by working closely with neurologists,
neurosurgeons, oncologists, ophthalmologists, gastroenterologists,
gastrointestinal surgeons, endocrinologists, and patient advocates,
all of whom have a special interest in VHL.

Our research interests in VHL and renal cancer include drug
discovery, clinical drug trials, identification of biomarkers
that predict disease activity, and health behavior studies.
