  • The organs of the urinary system are kidneys, ureters, bladder and urethra.
  • Blood goes into the kidneys through the renal artery.
  • Kidneys filter blood to make urine. Blood goes back to the body through the renal vein. Urine goes to the bladder through the ureters.
  • Bladder stores urine until it is released from the body through the urethra.
