The MassGeneral Hospital for Children's Center for Child and Adolescent Health Policy, created in 1999, brought together a dedicated group of researchers interested in improving the lives of children - in particular those who are poor, minority, or chronically ill - and their families through identifying, developing and supporting effective health care policies and interventions.
The Center is part of the MassGeneral Hospital for Children, with 180 staff pediatricians, 45 pediatric residents, and more than 40 clinical and research fellows. With the MGH a founding member of the Partners Healthcare, the Pediatric Service and the Center are parts of an integrated health care delivery system, linking community-based pediatricians, community hospitals, neighborhood health centers, and academic medical centers to offer exemplary health care to children and their families.
