First and foremost, by attending the International Scholars Program of the Department of Dermatology at Harvard Medical School a scholar can expect to obtain the finest learning experience of its kind anywhere in the world.
Goal and Purpose
The International Scholars Program in Dermatology (ISPD) allows us to share the state-of-the-art knowledge, experience and treatments that have given Harvard's Dermatology Program its name, with physicians from other countries so that they may carry new skills and research back to their home countries.
Participants of ISPD will particpate in a learning experience within a dynamic and stimulating academic environment. Scholars will participate in teaching and research conferences, as well as observe in clinical situations and interact with faculty, residents and fellows in what is recognized as a preeminent Department of Dermatology.
As a result, we promise an experience that is one of exhilaration and reward for every scholar.

Current and former students are physicians representing such countries as Brazil, Greece, Tunisia, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, the Philippines, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, India and Croatia, to name a few. They all have an intense desire to increase their knowledge and understanding of dermatology
