The Massachusetts General
Hospital Medical Walk-In Unit provides quick and convenient urgent care for
adults. With charges similar to those of physician's office, the Unit is an
affordable alternative to the emergency room for patients who are unable to
see their regular physician, are without a regular physician, or are visiting
the Boston area.
There is no need to call ahead to schedule an appointment though it may help to call ahead if you have specific questions. All patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis with extremely urgent cases receiving priority attention.
