Dermatologic Surgery Unit

The Dermatologic Surgery Unit at Mass General is dedicated to the surgical treatment of skin cancer. We specialize in a technique called Mohs Micrographic Surgery, a staged surgical skin cancer treatment procedure that offers the highest cure rates while limiting the amount of normal skin that has to be sacrificed to remove the tumor. Immediate reconstruction is then performed by our cancer surgeon, who is also trained in cosmetic facial surgery.

In addition, we offer a number of cosmetic dermatology and aesthetic services such as:
- Photodynamic Rejuvenation
- Liposculpture fat removal
- Minimally-invasive facelifing with Contour threads
- Anti-aging cosmetic dermatology
