The Plastic Surgery Research Laboratory is located on the sixth floor of the Thier Research Building on the main campus of the Massachusetts General Hospital. The laboratory includes more than 1000 square feet of dedicated wet laboratory space. The laboratory conducts investigations into the following areas of interest:

1) Tissue engineering of cartilage;
2) mechanisms of neural injury and regeneration;
3) ischemia/reperfusion injuries;
4) transplantation of vascularized limb tissues.
